Partially closed, light flows in and cascades over the louvers. The uniquely shaped, elliptical louvers are 2 - 3/4" wide. And when fully opened, they leave your view virtually unobstructed.

Even the head rail pivots and disappears, completing the illusion of invisibility. Sunlight is filtered through the layers of translucent fabric.
